About Us

Studio Creations is a group of artists with like interests and motives. Due to ISP Server errors, we've lost our original list of members, so here are the three names that first come to mind - the people who keep Studio Creations cranking.

If you live in the Atlanta, Georgia USA area and would like to join our collective unit in a project one day, please email us at webmaster @ studiocreations.com (take out the spaces around the "@" to use the email address). We'll see if your round shape can fit into the Studio Creations square hole. (grin)

The Members

Jeff Allen - He's the guy that started all this mess. It was 1989 and he was working at an Ad Agency in the middle-of-nowhere Georgia one day and decided he needed a name for his freelance art company. He drew a blood dripping logo for his letterhead and nearly gave the accountant a heart attack when he turned in his invoice for that week. Ever since then, he kept the logo and changed the name. He's really one sick puppy and we wish he'd just leave us alone.

Kurt Allen - He's the second member of the group that Jeff recruited way back when. Some say the two are brothers, but Kurt denies it. He says just because they lived in the same house for 18 years at one point, that doesn't make them brothers. We are awaiting DNA results. Kurt is a Jack-of-all-arts for the group. Computer art, painting, airbrushing and modeling are his strong points, needlepoint is his weakest.

David Burns - His needle point needs work too, but we keep him around to do other odd jobs. Really mundane things like Sweeping the floor, picking up trash, 3D modeling, vector graphic animation, video and sound editing and quantum physics. Really simple stuff . In all seriousness though David is a power house for Studio Creations. His upbeat attitude, attention to detail and amazing ear for sound are invaluable. We are going to miss him greatly when the local gas station opens up that window washer position.

Gail Celio - With a PHD in Pain and a Masters in Disaster you do not mess with Gail. She has an uncanny ability to extrapolate pop culture at the drop of a hat and that keeps everyone on their toes during meetings. Gail contributes immensly to the fine tuning of projects and the research that goes into them. She also takes up the slack for the groups poor needle point.

Todd Coss - Do not mess with this man, repeat, "Do not mess with this man". He is a vetran Combat Photo Journalist. He's seen action in Turkey, France and Boise Idaho. Why Todd gave up the good life of killing people and taking their picture is beyond us, but we are glad he did. Todd's artistic skills are highly valued in the group and include Illustration, sculpting, costuming and being able to color "inbetween" the lines. Go, Todd, Go!

Paul and Kim Detwiler - This couple are inspirational to us all. She's got the business sense, he's got no sense. They make awesome costumes from scraps laying around the house, latex paint their clothes the color they want, and then used 4 inch platform boots to make extra tall tennis shoes. Pure creative genius. We'll miss them when that baby comes and takes their free time away.

Bernadette Johnson - Being a writer and artist, she can't keep her mouth shut. We really love working with her, but she talks way to often during the get-togethers on projects. You don't dare tell her to shut up, either. Her three years at Karate really made her a powerhouse with a side kick. Jeff said something to her one day and she nearly broke his rib cage with a foot to the abdomen. We really love her though...honest.

Russell Hatfield - Insane Driver. That's all we can say about Russell. He's got a lead foot, 14 points on his driving record, and an affection for Habenero Potato Chips. We have been trying to kill Russ for years now, asking him to do all our stunt driving without using a seat belt, but he just laughs at our homicidal attempts and survives every stunt. Russ is the proud father of a healthy kidney stone.

Russell Mattingly - Russell is an organizational genius. He keeps the photo and video shoots on track whenever he's around. If he could keep his hands off the ladies he'd be the perfect go-to man.

Bobby Nash - Okay, Bobby is "freelance" writer and not on the payrole (actually no one has ever been paid for working on an SC project), but darn it, we use him so often that he feels like family. We run alot of our scripts and stories by him to make sure they work. He loves to nit-pick on Jeff's inability to spel things correctly.

Charles Nicolosi - Charles is the pretty boy of the group and inevitably gets roped into acting in most of SC's movies. You want to get on Charles' good side? Two words: Daves Insanity.
