The Upper Back

Now lets look at the UPPER BACK. Here's some snap shots.

The neck should be about 1 inch away from the neck line.
|
|
|
|
Align the box in the back as square as you can.
|
|
|
|
I highly recommend you to cut away a flat area in the clay where the box will go...
|
|
|
|
...and then place wood blocks down for the box walls.
|
|
|
|
Place the detail workings in by hand either cutting out clay circles or using household items. I used a set of disposable contact lens cases for my deatil pieces in the back. Worked fine for me.... but then again I'm not 100% authentic about my costume projects either.
